Questionaire analysis

Question one connotes that 57% of the people taking the survey are female whereas only 43% are male. This result will allow us to work out which gender likes which genres and we can use this information to determine which gender will prefer our genre of films










The age of our audience is vital as it allows us to properly understand who we are targeting. due to the fact that 80% of people are between age 18-40 we are aware that their are no legal restrictions we have to make when making our film.

This result connotes that comedy, crime thriller and thriller are the three joint highest and most popular genres. This gives us the impression that a crime thriller is a popular genre and our target audience will want to watch films in this genre. due to thriller also being so popular we will add elements of a normal thriller film and maybe include small amounts of comedy.











This images shows us the different reasons why differant members of the audience would watch their chosen genre of film. In order to make all these people want to watch our film we have anonymously looked at the aspects they have chosen and will include as many of them as possible.

we will make the film as exciting as possible without making it too scary as the the audience members show they like exciting films but not films in which are scary. we will also add mystery and an element of surprise as this was also a popular feature.

This question allows us to understand our audiences least preferred genre. we are aware that the people who took this survey are not keen on genres such as romance and horror. Because of this information we know now not to include romance in our film and know to keep the horror and scary aspects of film minimal. This question also connotes that crime thriller is enjoyed by some people.

















This question shows that the majority of our target audience watch films due to the plot. another large majority say they watch films due to a good opening sequence, after receiving this information we know that the best way to persuade our target audience is to merge the two together and have a good plot and a good opening sequence.











  This questions asks the audience to rank the genres. this question shows that crime thriller is the most popular genre. This connotes that the target audience will be interested in watching our film. The most irrelevant genre ( Sci-fi) is the least popular genre. connoting we will not have to worry about the target audience not been entertained by our chosen genre.

This question shows that our audience are split on weather they buy DVDs or not. we know that the same amount of people "often": buy DVDs and
"Hardly ever" buy DVDs this connotes that our audience do still buy DVDs. This can be used as a way of making extra money
